When it comes to access to education, much of the world is lacking – and Building with Books is doing something about it.

Since 1992, BwB’s School Construction Program has overseen the building of more than 285 schools in rural communities of developing countries around the world. In addition, BwB provides adult literacy and community development through its Community Education Program. Our commitment to both is ongoing and growing: In 2008, we plan to build 58 schools in Haiti, Malawi, Mali, Nepal, Nicaragua and Senegal.
