Through the unique duality of its programming, Building with Books empowers U.S. high school students to improve their own lives and communities, as well as to take an active role in the construction of schools in developing countries.
BwB engages students through intensive after-school programs at 130 high schools in six urban regions across the U.S. The focus of its programs is three-fold: community service, fundraising to build schools overseas and global education.
