May 24
Harlem Roadkings Fundraising Basketball Game.
Showboat Robinson's Harlem Roadkings will play against a celebrity team at Pershing High School in Detroit. They will also host a free basketball clinic for area youth 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The game will begin at 7 p.m. with a free concert to follow. Game tickets are $10 and will go to BwB. For more information, contact Dianne Mishra at (248) 262-2714.

June 20
Trek Team Leaves for Mali.
The team includes 11 students and 3 teachers from International Academy and Lahser High School (Bloomfield Hills), Osborn, Pershing and Renaissance High Schools (Detroit), Jackson Lumen Christi (Jackson),  Northville High School (Northville), and Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn).
